Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to eSIM data plans (the “Service”) provided by Globalalo and forms an integral part of our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. This refund policy enters into force upon purchase; by completing a purchase, all users are deemed to accept this Refund Policy.

1. General Principles

Globalalo provides a digital service model whose consumption typically begins immediately upon delivery. eSIM profiles are generated uniquely for each user and, once delivered, are considered used digital goods.

Accordingly, refund handling follows international telecom provider practices and digital service standards as outlined below.

2. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are not possible if the eSIM has been installed on the device.

Installation by any specified or unspecified method below or otherwise results in no refund:

  • Installation via QR code

  • Manual installation of the eSIM profile

  • eSIM has been activated on the device

  • eSIM has been partially or fully consumed

Note: eSIM installation/activation is technically irreversible. Therefore, even unused eSIMs that have been installed are not refundable.

3. Refundable Cases

3.1 Globalalo-Caused Technical Error

Refunds may be granted where the issue is the responsibility of Globalalo, such as:

  • Failure to deliver the purchased plan

  • Production/error in the eSIM profile assigned to the user

  • eSIM unusable due to a technical fault originating from Globalalo

Technical verification may be requested from the user.

3.2 Pre-Activation User Request

A refund request may be accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The eSIM has not been installed

  • The eSIM has not been activated

  • The user’s request is submitted within 14 days from the purchase date (for legal compliance)

All such requests are reviewed manually.

4. User Responsibilities

If the device is carrier-locked (preventing eSIM usage) refunds are not possible.

4.1 Device Compatibility

Users are responsible for verifying prior to purchase that:

  • Their device supports eSIM

  • The device supports dual SIM / digital SIM

  • The device is not carrier-locked

Refunds are not issued for incompatibility-related issues.

4.2 Activation Timing

Users must activate eSIMs at an appropriate time for their travel. Losses due to incorrect activation timing do not qualify for a refund.

4.3 Country & Coverage Verification

Coverage varies by plan. Users must review plan coverage prior to purchase. No refund for usage outside covered areas.

5. Technical Issues & Review Process

Support is prioritized for technical issues.

Process:

  • User files a support ticket or contacts [email protected].
  • Technical team reviews technical information and usage logs.
  • If the issue is caused by Globalalo, a refund or replacement eSIM will be provided.
  • If the issue arises from user error, device incompatibility, or local carrier restrictions, no refund will be given.

6. Payment Methods & Refund Timing

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Processing times depend on banks/payment providers and typically vary between 3–14 business days.

  • Banking processing times are outside Globalalo’s control.

7. Partial Usage / Plan Consumption

If part of the data plan has been used or quota consumed:

  • No partial refunds

  • No plan swaps

  • No refunds after top-up

  • Even if plan validity has started, unused data is not refundable.

8. B2B & Enterprise Customers

For B2B partners, resellers, agencies and enterprise customers:

  • Pricing and delivery models differ.

  • Custom-produced eSIMs for customers are generally non-refundable.

  • Refund requests are assessed according to contractual terms.

9. Fraud & Abuse

If fraud is suspected, Globalalo may:

  • Temporarily suspend the user account

  • Reject refund requests

  • Cooperate with authorities if required

10. Right to Change Policy

Globalalo reserves the right to update this Refund Policy when necessary.
