Important Notes

To use a Globalalo eSIM, your device must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM compatible

Warranty-voiding modifications to your device, such as jailbreaking or rooting, can cause problems when installing an eSIM

Manual Check

While on the phone dialer screen, dial *#06#

If you see a 32-digit number labeled “EID” on the screen that appears, it means your device is eSIM compatible.

(Not the number labeled MEID! Look specifically for the one labeled EID)

There may be country- and carrier-specific restrictions

Not all devices may be listed. Even if your device isn't on the list, it may still be eSIM compatible

- iPhone devices manufactured for Mainland China.

- iPhone devices manufactured for Hong Kong and Macau (except iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone SE 2020, and iPhone XS).

- On iPhones and iPads purchased in Turkey and set up after April 23, 2020, eSIM activates after setup. If it doesn't activate, you should contact your local carrier. If your device was set up before April 23, 2020, was manufactured for Turkey, and is one of the iPhone models listed above, and you can't install an eSIM, you can reinstall your device by going to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Erase All Content and Settings. (Warning: this will erase all information on your device.)
